Installation Methods

Two decades of excellence in floor restoration across Gloucestershire. From period homes to modern commercial spaces, we deliver exceptional results combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.

Glue Down Method

When there is a hard core subfloor like concrete, gluing is the best method to choose. This method decreases chances of floor movement and provides excellent stability.

Nail Down Method

Ideal for wood subfloors, nailing provides invisible fixing through the grooves. This is the preferred method whenever the subfloor is capable of holding nails.

Screw Installation

A meticulous method involving countersinking screws and plugging with dowels. While more time-consuming, this provides extremely secure fixing.

Floating Installation

Utilising tongue and groove connections without subfloor attachment. While quick to install, note that these floors can be more prone to movement and sound.
